This policy explains what information Rupelle collects when you use our website, why we collect it, and how you can control it. We never sell your personal information.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, phone number, email, delivery address and the items you buy.
- When you log in: your email address, and your saved delivery details and wishlist if you choose to save them.
- When you ask to be notified about a coming-soon piece: the email or WhatsApp number you give us.
- When you browse: which products are viewed or marked “I want this”, linked to a random ID stored in your browser, not to your name.
How we use it
- To process, pack, deliver and support your orders
- To send messages about your order, and login codes
- To tell you when a piece you asked about is available
- To understand which designs people like, so we can decide what to stock
We don't send marketing messages unless you ask us to, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
Who we share it with
Only with the services we need to run the shop:
- Delivery partners receive your name, phone number and address to deliver your order.
- Website and database hosting (Vercel and Supabase) store the website and its data securely.
- Email services send order updates and login codes.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Your browser storage
We store your bag, wishlist, login session and a random visitor ID in your browser so the site works as you expect. We don't use advertising trackers. Clearing your browser data removes these.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting, tax and warranty purposes. Notify-me contacts are kept until the piece is available or you ask us to delete them.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw your consent, by emailing hello@rupelle.com. We'll respond within 30 days. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Security
Your data is stored with providers that use encryption and access controls. Only Rupelle staff who need it to fulfil your order can see your details.
Children
Our website is meant for people aged 18 and over. Younger shoppers should order with a parent or guardian.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
